150th Anniversary of Michigan Athletics

Purpose: This marketing campaign highlighted the 150th anniversary of athletics at the University of Michigan. Inspiration was drawn from some of the earliest design materials used on the athletic campus and at events.

One of my favorite elements of this project was the logo itself. The Ferry Field gate was chosen as a reference because it still stands on the athletic campus, hosted multiple sports, and has a tie to the rest of the university campus as it was designed by Albert Kahn (architect behind some of the most iconic campus buildings).

Format: This was a print and digital campaign with design elements that were used beyond the pieces shown here, including social graphics. Shown here are some of the key marketing materials including posters, tickets, shirts, and giveaway items.
